Anyone done testing on planetary capitals?

Within the system with a regional capital, distance corruption is zero, same as for the capital system. The influence depends upon your setting for empire corruption, but regional and empire capitals all reduce corruption more for closer colonies rather than those further away. If I recall correctly, the adjustment is something like 5% per 1000k distance from a capital added to colony corruption, once a colony grows large. Actually the split is about 50/50 on colony corruption for distance and population level until late game. I haven't taken data on specifics since Shakturi, but doubt that anything has changed much since then...

Do you know whether the corruption setting affects all empires or just your own?
