Upgrade or New Game?

Dear Fellow Gamers:

I purchased "The War in the Pacific, Admiral's Version," with 46 mile hexes in Feb 2012. A new version, or a new upgrade, has been announced, with 40 mile hexes and other changes. Am I allowed to upgrade to this new version at a reduced cost, or is each new version treated as a new game that you purchase at $99.00?

I can not find the information elsewhere on the website.

If I remember correctly, the 46 mile hex number is statute mile hex size and the 40 is the nautical mile hex size. As Stormwolf said, all updates are free if you own the game.

Why would you ask this question again, when your first thread about it already contains the correct answer?

Old version of the game had 60 mile hex. Admiral's Edition has 40 nautical mile hex. As stated, updates are free.
