Working on a custom scenario in a xml-editor I saved the xml-file with a small error.
This caused GaW to later halt loading the game itself, please see screenshot.
It seems both scenarios and saved games are prefetched as the game itself is loading.
I think this is problematic as a corrupt file may prevent your game from launching.
Reinstalling the game does not help.

I fixed my xml-file and is back in business.

Hello Erik,

well, it is a bit annoying if you toy around with the xmls - but ususally this is a devs risc. There are several hints what caused the crash and we will add more to help people to have an easier developing process. But as most things will be done with the new editor this will have a low priority. The editor will remove the need for messing in XML in most if not all cases.
