Dear forum,

I am currently on turn 77 as the Axis player in the North African Campaign. Torbruk has been taken and my front is in the environs of Mersa Matruh. However, my supply trucks don't seem to be raising the supply values within their radius. They are more than 25 hexes apart and so are not cancelling each other out. As a result, my offensive has stalled since the supply levels at my front are prohibitvely low. This is odd since just 15 turns ago I had a supply truck operating perfectly well, lifting the supply levels around my troops attacking Torbruk. Why are my supply trucks not working? Any advice gratefully received.

Well, it seems to be working correctly to me. About 25 MPs from the Supply Unit, the supply drops suddenly from 16 to 11. So, you're getting a boost within a supply radius of the Supply Unit. Beyond the radius, you're not.

Thank you for the clarification. I overlooked the drop because the overall effect on supply value is much less than it is farther west. Makes sense I suppose given the historical supply constraints faced by the Africa Korps east of Torbruk. I had hoped to claim a bold and gallant early victory but think on reflection, with supply levels as they are, that a determined push against an entrenched and largely intact commonwealth force at El Alamein will only serve to shatter the Axis formations and give the Commonwealth a golden opportunity for a decisive counterattack. An Axis drive east of Mersa can only be effective against a Commonwealth force on the move, or one that is poorly deployed.
