Hello, are there any mods/scenarios that have Japanese names for planes in the game?

I mean Ki-43 Hayabusa instead Oscar or Ki-61 Hien instead Tony.

They have mods for all kinds of artwork, so why not? Perhaps someone will advise you how to do it yourself and then we can all benefit. [:)]

It's as simple as firing up the editor.

I think the A6M2-N was called the Suisen and the Later "Rex" was called the Kyofu.

My problem with this sort of thing is that it leaves holes in the list of Jap planes. The US codenames approach doesn't.

No holes this time. Standard scenarios HAVE Japanese names anyway, but use them scarsly. I just put there more names. The rest aircrafts are still named with the US codenames.

Look at this on stock scenarios: J7W1 Shinden, J8M1 Shusei, K1W1 Shiragiku, Ki-115b Tsuragi, Ki-201 Karyu, M6A1 Seiran.
They all were there, so I just added the rest of known names.

Why not write the English translation from Japanese instead?

Ki-44 Shouki = Ghostkiller
Ki-45 Toryuu = Dragonslayer

etc.
