I recently upgraded to SPWAWv7.1 with 7.2 patch. The game booted up properly the first time. The next time I tried to enter the game I selected the SPWAW Icon and it brought up the Entry Page where I selected "PLAY SPWAW" and got the movie. When I hit the space bar as usual to bring up the game menu, I got only the Entry Page again shrunk up to fill only 1/4 of the screen. Upon selecting "PLAY SPWAW" again I got the same result. I then exited the Entry Page. I brought up my Win2000 taskmanager and noted that I now had TWO SPWAW's running even after I had exited. There must be some pointer which is twisting off. I uninstalled the game and it ran fine the first time again.... And screwed up again the second. Does anyone have a fix for this, so I don't have to go back to v6 of SPWAW??

There is no such thing as 7.2 patch? Try running the game directly by bypassing the the autorun menu by editing the icon shortcut to point to :\MatrixGames\Steel Panthers World at War\mech.exe.
