Hi everyone,

although I am usually only active in the WITP AE forum I have been playing SoW since it first came out - even played TC 2 before that too

the reason for my posting here is this:

I recently reinstalled SoW Gettysburg, Pipe Creek and Antietam...
played it a few days and then found out that there is a new update now on the matrix forum (so - my installers still used the "share-it" d/l links etc and have still been purchased via the NorbSoftDev site)

so I installed the patch yesterday - restarted the game - and now it only gives me "sandbox" and "tutorials"

is there anything I have to watch out for when installing the update? - I mean it completely overwrote the menu etc.....

what am I doing wrong here?

From SOW HQ:
Download the latest version and then reinstall their versions. Install to a different folder first, then you can copy your ini/saved games/mods to the new install.

first of all - thanks for your answer...

but could you please explain a bit more detailed what I need to do?

"download the latest version" - I used some old downloads that I had saved on my HD in case the d/l links would no longer work - and as I expected (I just tried them) - they no longer work (I clicked on the links provided for me in the mails - which I had, fortunately, saved in my email-archive...)
or does this refer to the 1.61 patch?

Not sure what you're downloading, make sure they are the latest Matrix releases:

well - for some it apparently takes longer to realize stuff
