I am playing Ironman and I put the Taiho on accelerated. The BB's Kii has been frozen at 25 days for a while. I changed Taiho back to normal and I put Kii up to accelerated but it still is not progressing

What are your Naval SY production numbers like? Do you have enough HI to produce the Naval Sy points as well?

Either through Tracker or in-game via the industrial screen or ship build screen (right side numbers).

See if this makes sense. If it doesn't, let us know and we can go from there and start looking at your HI, etc.

its 1428 shipyard with a 13 in parenthisis and 4009 estimate. So can I slow down production on some ships or do something to get production rolling again

I think you need to understand how ship production works a little more. 1428(13) means that you have no surplus points.13 is just left over from the previous turn. A 4009 estimate tells me that you are trying to accelerate many ships and hence many ships are no longer building.

Either read the manual or my econ101 doc in my sig. nature. I go into fairly good detail about Tracker and the points system as well as recommendations for ship production.

Or Numbydar's econ primer does a similar job iirc.

My estimate is better but still over, what is the best way to get the ship going. One weird thing I had a yamato class that was 50 days out get finished before the Kongo class that us still 25 days out.

No much information here Steve ... you must think we are clairvoyant ?

I'd say from my understanding of the ship build mechanics ... the ID of the Yamato is lower than that of the Kongo ... the game code has the ship list iterated by ID and works out which are due to build or not(if (delay <= (durability * 10))) and there are enough points to cover the build.

Why don't you post a save here sometime...

PS> GET Tracker ...
