Right off the bat

In the first tutorial I can not move the ships to the designated location, it says one of my units can not enter that terrain. So much for making movement easier.

You should see the section of river you are trying to enter change color if the mouse is properly placed. Sounds like you are dragging and dropping to land instead.

Had the same problem. Elmo3 is right, just move the cursor around until the river is selected.

Same problem here. The game is very, very touchy about setting the destination for river movement. Maybe something can be done about that.

Sheesh, does it seem like people are EXTREMELY touchy and quick to blast this game?

I was told the touchy feely crap was gone from the first game which I also bought. It is not. As to highlight actually you don't want the river to change color that means you are on the land portion.

Navigable rivers are already much increased in size compared to what they should be, 'physically'. Increasing further their width would really make the map weird.

We are all ears though if you have some proposals on how to render the 'target the river' thing easier. Stronger color highlighting? Change of mouse cursor? [:)]

When you hover over a land area it highlights. When you hover over a river it does not. I suppose now that I know that it will work.

Maybe the unit counter should, as soon as you want to move them with the mouse pointer, show to one of its corners a kind of target pointer/riflescope with which one can set/target his counter very accurate?

Change of mouse cursor?

I'd love to have a regular mouse cursor instead of a fountain pen like in PON and AACW2.

Best regards

May be it is possible to enlarge the sensitive area where the river reacts to the dragged fleet?

No idea what you are talking about. When I have the cursor over the river it changes color to show that, and then I drop there with no problem.

I had the same problem. With the river highlighted I went north of the placement arrow where the river is a little wider and it worked.

When you have the stack positioned correctly, the water region will turn darker blue. I had the same problem initially.
