Would it be possible to produce a manual without the background images for those of us who want to print it out ?

It seems like most, if not all, Matrix game manuals have a background image or color. I don't understand why. Surely, they realize it wrecks desktop printers and burns through cartridges of ink.

I don't think it adds anything to the aesthetics of the printed manual and I'm sure it costs Matrix more when they have the hard copies printed for the boxed versions.

If the publisher feels it's important, fine. At least also provide a printable version without the background image for users to print.

Makes it much easier to scroll around on a low powered device such as a phone too.

One of the manuals is labelled as the Printer version, but it's the same as the fancy big blue background eBook one. Was hoping that maybe someone dropped the wrong pdf in there, and they have the plain white background one hidden in an undisclosed location.

You may be able to get it out by yourself with Nero pro. But that will set you back a few bucks.

I'll look into this as a possibility.

I find the manual illegible. Small white type on a black background makes the eyes unable to
focus properly. Black type on a white background please. Just call me old fashion.

Just want to add my vote for this. A non background printable manual would be much appreciated.

Yep, this would make it much more easier on the eyes. especially for us more mature folks ;-P
