Yep. I have them all over. Ugly tiling error, maybe? I posted about this a few days ago - here: tm.asp?m=3417391

I put pics up too, but no one has replied yet - and I'd given up expecting a response now - I guess you will probably only get a reply if you start a new thread and they happen to see it right then, before they get swamped with all the other new threads.... I guess they've got their plates full, as there are so many little problems and issues being raised.

It happens in all screen resolutions that I've tried. That hardly anyone else has griped about it is surprising - perhaps reflecting the reality that so many people want this game to be good and are concentrating on game play issues rather than graphics, mainly.

But the graphics are not what I expected at all. My biggest disappointment is that the game just does not look like it looked in all the pre-release screenies showing huge levels of detail. There's no detail (at airbases etc) - it seems you have to find and provide that yourself, as custom layers. That should have been made clear to me before I paid my money, I think. Because in terms of pure gameplay it doesn't, so far, seem to me to be radically different to Harpoon. There's still no sense of sitting in the control room of a flagship, say, and giving high level instructions which subordinates then convert into actual plans. Instead you have to assume the 'role' of the commander of many different units. That's my first impression anyway. A lot of clicking, just like Harpoon.

I see the joints too, usually fix themselves by moving the map. I dont have the strange "ripple" effect though. It looks like a pond or something lol

I get the wobbly map effect too, at exactly the same place of the map. It seems to appear at a certain map tile in Somalia.

Guess I lied, I do get the artifacts too, seems they are just really location specific and I usually go to places where theyre not at haha.

But north of Australia, in Timor, I also get them. Doesnt matter if im in scenario (Pitch Black) or freshly started up command, new blank scenario and zoom there. Around the 40 nm scale (bottom right) it starts to happen.

I also fired up an old buil (440) and it was in there too, so I'm thinking it's not necessarily a new thing, just hadnt come across it till now.

Only that we are aware of this issue and because of its (IMHO) low impact on gameplay it currently has a low priority.

Agreed, not a show stopper. Try looking at custom overlays if you want this fixed.
