From the view point of a U.S. Navy......

I am a United States Navy Service Connected Disabled Veteran and not only that, I served with and was part of the STANAVFORLANT fleet at one time.
Having now played 'Command', I do like the attention to detail, I DO like the micro-managing if you so desire (the more detail the better in my opinion) and there are a number of other things I also really like...
However there are a few things that could be changed.. First, I want to say that IF something can be done and I just missed how to do it, then please let me know...
Others have already covered the interface and timing etc so I will not bother re-hashing those..
1) P3 Orions and ASW aircraft need the ability to set up patrol zones AND select the type of drops they make during the patrol, where in the patrol zone AND what kind of drop.... i.e. sonabouys, line plus direction, box, zig etc...
2) Ships and subs also need patrol zones. Additionally they need the ability to use only certain weapon types on certain target types. I.E. you may need or want to fire SM3 missiles at ships or perhaps use a weapon in a manner not normally found.
3) I have found that sometimes I try to ready some aircraft at a base or ship and I am unable to select or use them for some reason even though they show up in inventory.
4) Air Defense for land based locations.
5) Formation editor... set up auto-patrol zones with mission. Much like found in the original Harpoon game.. that way ships can auto launch helos or other patrol aircraft on their own, refuel as needed and launch replacement birds for those crashed or shot down without human interaction.
6) Ability to select INDIVIDUAL ships in a task group and independently control them, add them to fleet or separate them to new fleet and issue orders. If this can be done, I have not figured out how on the main map.
For the moment, that is it. I have more but for now, those are the critical things I found right away. I am one that sincerely hopes the devs will stick with this game and continue to enhance and develop new features, capabilities and more in the future.. We really need an honest full blown GOOD detail modern naval warfare sim and 'Command' could just be the beginning of that finally!
