I'd be interested to know what you guys, especially the devs, think. It's a more critical review than I expected but is quite scrupulous, detailed and obviously written by a veteran of this genre.

It's hard to argue with the opinions. I thought there were way too many comparisons to H3. But then I looked at the author. Enough said if anyone is a long-time Harpoon player.

Hi guys

there is a lot of history between Herman Hum and the Warfaresims team, which Sim HQ were probably not aware of. We'll talk to them about this and find out where things went wrong.

Their preview by someone else was very positive.

Review seems fair to me, sometimes the truth hurts. I hadn't realised i had to pay over £60 to become a beta tester....[:@]

Now *that* is a bit severe. I think the consensus appears to be that the game is quite polished and delivers on its promises.

Erik, I have no idea who this Herman is or what his history is with you guys. I hope you do not mind my drawing attention to this review. It certainly does not influence my own very positive initial response to the game.

If you're interested in a summary of the past history, you can read it here: http://www.warfaresims.com/index.php?s=herman

I'm going to lock this thread for now, as given past history with him, we may have more first time posters showing up to bump it up the forum.

Regards,
