Is anyone at Matrix/2by3 aware of the disfunction of Server play ATM?

Can anyone provide some update or feedback as to whats going on?

The thread in the tech forum seems to be getting ignored.

Is/will server play continue to be viable?

Anyone out there listening?

This has been going on for days now....I'm able to get in occasionally but only after multiple attempts. I'm starting to get concerned that this isn't going to get fixed any time soon.

I can't get on at all. Not for 4 days.

If it is geographic, I wonder if there is timeout involved. I can usually get in after a few tries spaced out. I noticed this morning (US Eastern) was pretty good.

Yes, we are investigating, but it does not seem to be a consistent issue.

I'm in Paris France and like rmonical it'works after some tries.
I've troubles to get my file but too to send back my turn.

Like schascha, I am from EU and sometimes it's working sometimes not.

Is there any way to increase the Time Out settings? As I suspect that's why I can't get a download at anytime.

Increasing time out could be the solution.

FWIW I reported an issue loading a file Marquo_Bozo Axis perhaps 3 weeks ago. It started with an interminable " loading" loop. The Slitherine technician was unable to help, but eventually Helpless took a look and determined that the file was corrupted. After he reset, game seemed to work. However since the game has been called off. I only bring this up if it may help you.

Hi guys - sorry you are having problems. Our data center had a crash on the PBEM server at the weekend and since then we've been having these glitches and so far not worked out what the cause is. We're working hard to find out the cause.
