Hi to all

I've just played "The Four Horsemen" as soviet. As soon as the NATO pick one of my submarine and launch a torpedo, my submarine start the evasive manuever. The question is : can I stop the AI behavior and take control of the sub to try to evade the torpedo?
If not my sub seems to go flank without any chance to escape in deep water until every torpedo signal disappear ....

Thanks
Paolo

Yeah, that drove me crazy when I first encountered it. Thank goodness for the Turn Automatic Evasion Off option!

It will depend on what has targeted you. The maneuver may well be different depending on whether it is AAA or a SAM, the detection method, and whether there is any active homing on the weapon fired at you.

I put them astern, dive deep and go Flank. There is some talk of keeping them 30 degrees or so to the stern but that may be for some sort of terminal maneuver that would probably not work in Command. So like I said, I just RUN!

thx for the reponse Primarchx.

@mattpenfold I actually meant an evasive maneouer against modern torpedos. Though, I assume that in real life the right way to do may still depend on the type of the torpedo.
