I'm installing Eagle Day to BTR on a new laptop and I'm trying to download the 1.02 patch but it isn't downloadable from Matrix anymore. Is it small enough to attach to a post here? Or, better yet, can Matrix make it accessible again.

It is 25 meg. I would love to post it for you, but I don't know if I could.

The 1.02 update is still available in the public FTP latest downloads section in the Members Club Area.

I have just re-downloaded the patch to test the availablility.

Could I trouble you for the URL of that page?

WHen I look in my registered games it just tells me there are no downloads available for Eagle Day to BTR and when I go to BTR page it doesn't download.

If you log into the Home page of the Matrix members club there is a list of downloads for games.

However the BTR patch is not listed.

Instead click on the link above the list which states " you can also find our public FTP latest downloads available here".

Once at this screen you can scroll down to find the BTR 1.02 patch download.

Quick follow-on Q about the Italian surrender. Is there anything I can do to preserve Italian fighter groups or once Italy surrenders do they all vanish?

All Italian groups will surrend at the end of the 14th turn. No chance to change this.
I've assigned the best fighter groups to Luft.Sud Ost, Luft.Reich, Luft.3 & 4, but it's
the same...

Aye, so just make sure they're not flying anything useful and use them like there's no tomorrow for 14 days [;)]
