[FIXED B465] De-select manual speed&course settings problem

It seems that after a unit has been manually set for the altitude (or any other variable) if I just uncheck the "manual" box on the righthand side unit info screen AI will not regain control and will not change parameters. Hitting F2 I still see "manual" checked. Only if I uncheck in the F2 box does the control go back to auto.

I can confirm that for Build 439. Actually, I can't get the altitude to revert to its default state even when using the "F2"-Window. Planes seem to be stuck to the altitude that was set manually and don't change it even if reverted to automatic control.
EDIT: The only thing that seems to "reset" the altitude logic is putting a plane on a mission.

just launched the submarina tutorial mission and could not change depth either. manual box indeed "re-checks" itself when I uncheck it. not sure if I am doing smthg wrong or it is a bug. have build 439.
edit: relaunched the tutorial mission. no problem this time.

This is still a problem in 446, as I have earlier today re-reported here (sorry for that, but my profile does not show me my latest posts, only old ones so I had not retrieved my original post to bump it):

Hi Martin
Added a note to this so it gets bumped a little further up the stack.

The way and speed the team solves the little issues in a great game is outstanding! Thanks!
