equipment.pzdat & efx.pzdat issues

I`m not sure if posts here are still read, but for what it`s worth, I`ve noticed these in the vanilla 1.20 files:

- the Rolls Armoured Car is using the tracked sounds:
Rolls_Armoured_Car.png (7,-19) (-7,-19) (,) (,) MG1 tracked_medium1 tracked_medium2 tracked_medium3
From the image it appears that the unit is a wheeled vehicle so I was thinking it should use the wheeled sounds.

- unit number 576 (QF 25 pounder) is missing its "primary" trait. My understanding is that it needs it since it is supposed to convert to unit number 465 (QF 25pdr AT) which does have its "nopurchase" trait.

- the following units have two spaces between name and version (i.e. between Sd.Kfz. and 251):

Code: Select all

Sd.Kfz. 251/1
 Sd.Kfz. 250/1
and their respective SE variants have the same fault.

Hi

The best place to post your issues is in Slitherine forum. Regarding bugs the beta sub section is usually the one used.

Regarding the Rolls I think I had already alerted Rudankort to that issue. To be honest I thought it was already fixed. The "Sd.Kfz." two spaces, is an old typo that doesn't affect the game as the type is repeated in equipment file.

There are two entries in efx.pzdat (also present in v1.21 like the above) for West_Allied_Armoured_Train.png:

West_Allied_Armoured_Train.png (,-) (-,-) (,) (,) ArtLight1 ArtLight2 tracked_medium1 tracked_medium2 tracked_medium3
and
West_Allied_Armoured_Train.png (30,0) (-30,0) (,) (,) ArmouredTrain train

Obliviously, they`re not identical as they are using different sounds and animations. I don`t think there`s any technical issue with this since I`m guessing that the game simply loads one (the last?) of them. But it`s useful to know in case you want to edit this entry because you may end up editing the wrong one.

That's a duplicated entry. The last one is the one that the game will load.
