First Contact 1986 as Norway

I have tried this scenario a number of times as the Norwegians and each time the russian missiles come in thick and fast and even after i get off the first salvos of missiles they all miss - only on one or two occasions do they hit.
I was think i could use the terrain as some cover, but that just doesnt work and even missiles come over the terrain and take out all my ships.

Can anyone provide help on how i can get the edge the russians here? they jam my radars.

I thought it was interesting to see though that even the russian AI was making mistakes on identification, launching missiles at a fishing boat and taking it out - or maybe those were intended for me.
Am supposed to use the fishing boats as human shields? that cant be right.

In my own game, I put the MTB at flank speed.

I used the ones with no Pingouin as a "forward observer". When I detect a contact, I use the FO to distract the Russian, move my Missiles ones in attack position at flank speed and fire 2 Pingouin per target.

I lost nearly every MTB and had only 2 survivor, but I managed to kill all foes.

what are the EMCON settings you have for your ships? What do you mean by attack position - what is attack position for a ship, do you have all ships on weapons tight to begin with?

I have all radar on actif mode.

By "attack position" I mean I put my MTB at firing range for the pinguin and slow them down.

I tried to have the Russian between my missiles MTB and the torpedoes ones.

I think that the speed is everything here.
