not launching aircraft

using build 442. playing air tutorial. launched 6 tomcats, they clear out enemy air. make mission for SEAD and assign 10 aircraft. 8 of them launch so I am wondering what happened to other two. checked airbase and I see that the last two have went into readying status and wont be available for another 6 hours. why did they go into readying status? sending save file to sunburn as it wont let me upload it here. thanks.
update-got to the land strike portion and added 12 aircraft. 10 launch and 2 go into readying status for 6 hours.
