So just a quick glance there are 1000's of weapons for cold war and modern era. More than one person can handle alone. I got to thinking that each of us working on our own things would certainly cause overlap and frankly take us longer to get it all covered.

How many would want to volunteer to update part of this database. If we had say 40 volunteers each would only have to do 50 pictures or so and then we would have all the weapon images covered for cold war and current. More volunteers and we would have even less. Just throwing the idea out there to see what kind of response I get and how many would be interested in spending a little time to make the game better for all?

I've got a good chunk(90%) of the PLA AF and PLAN done, plus I'm plugging away on USN ships. Will have them posted soon.

cool, thanks ! I'm talking about weapons platforms though specifically not ships, air, or naval but the weapons part. I don't how many users of the game and forum we have but without at least a few dozen volunteers I can't foresee us taking it on rather we will just continue to update a little at a time.

Hey great start , we only have about 1972 left You should post these in the mods section with a subject of DB3000 - Images - Weapons. Even though it's a cluster over in that section I think people are learning to go there for images. Based on the feedback so far I don't think the idea of a community project has enough interest so we will just continue to add them individually piece by piece. Although not weapons I just upload the Iraq airplanes for DB3000 in the mods section.

I put it here because you can't find anything there. I wish there was just a place to post stuff like the old scenario depot.

But how do we track what drawings/text have been found and what is outstandng?

Are there any devs who could share an excel dump of all the units etc and which have pictures/text?

Otherwise there could be alot of time wasted.

Thanks Gecko, I'm sad about it but we just don't have enough interest. My goal / plan was yes to asks the devs for a database dumb (best case scenario) but alternately we could have just ok you do aaa through aac and he'll do aad through aah and so on. We'll eventually get there, there's already been a lot of images added Still wish on of the mods/devs would organize this cluster of a section though and provide us some folders
