Sorry for the repost - but it is the first time I have posted here in the Tech forum...

Many of these in the database use what seems to be the wrong guidance types. Here's the correct list for the Russian designed SAMS. The naval derivatives are the same. SA-N-3 (as the oddball) is added at the end.

The source for this is either wikipedia, ausairpower or fas. Many of the drawings/pictures on the net of the missiles will clearly show rear facing antennas in the case of those I am saying should be RF command.

So what? Well I guess it changes the way ECM deals with the systems etc.

SA-2 (all variants)

SA-3 (all variants)

Thanks, have registered these [8D]

The reason many command-guidance weapons in the database are listed as SARH is because we do not currently simulate jamming of the guidance uplink. Anyway its in the queue and will be looked into.

Thought there would be a reason... Would you like me to do the rest or are these likely to be work rounds too?

Do you jam the tracking radar for SARH, because that's also how to defeat RF command as the link would be tricky to deal with IRL.

RF Beam Riding is an earlier type I don't see, is this for the same reason?
