While wistling 'a long road to Tipperary', the SS walks east. Suddenly, it appears the Luftwaffe has been assigned to protect Berlin against cowardly attacks against the civilian population, as 4 Il-2's dive down from the sun. Catching the Flugzeugabwehrkannonnen of guard, they swoop in targetting a couple ofStuG and StuIG's. 2 are left smoking on the battlefield as they circle to return.

Should have taken a couple of SPAA's it seems. :D

Sunlight Glinting of their wings Two of the Shturmoviks Turn Around and Dive back onto the Battlefield strafing an 88. Numerous StuIG and STUGs are spotted, Two 88s have also been tagged, Though the enemy seems to be short of Infantry and AAA:)

T34s and KVs are ordered Forward.

Okay.. A 88 Flak notices it's on a gold spot, yels: Aaarghh!! and pins in place. If the strikes that whiped out 1/2 of the crew didn't have been hit thet'd have been broken, luckilly a stray 7.92 caught the trailing aircraft in the wing. So much for air defence. Sould have known the road would have been pre-plotted. A slow advance slows down even more as yet another StuG breaks down. Everyone is glad there isn'th the omnious sound of arty fireing in the distance so far...

Recovering from the surprise, the SS marches onward...

Since you two seem to be relativly new to the PBEM games I will give you a suggestion that keeps away that pesky "Saved Game Failed to Load" message.
For some reason the game does not save right away when you end your turn in an e-mail game, and if you exit the game or close the window before it saves your game is CAPUT! You will have to reload the game and play the turn over again.
Well after you have ended your turn, get up and take a 2-5 minute break, go to the bathroom, get something to eat, say hello and kiss the significant other. Then come back and zip your files. You will have much more fun and you will not have to replay turns.

I hope it's not broken, since I didn't keep a backup. (maybe not the smartest.. good idea for the future tho.)

'll see.

Huh, I redid the one from up there, the one you forgot to attach at first. Same only worse rallying. Which one of the 2? (I'll post it at the same time) Your say.

I Used the file you gave me.

Soviet Forces Continue to Advance meeting no enemy opposition. Lack of trucks Causes Soviet infantry to Lag far behind, a problem our German counterparts are also experiencing if arial reconisance is to be believe.

Sturmoviks Make an about face and return catching a column of armour crossing a bridge stavka had marked for preplotting. Yet another STUIG goes up in flames (at this rate the german aroured juggernaught will never reach the VH's). After 2 turns of deceptive silence The Peoples Artillery Opens up to the tune of a 155mm OB battery.

A ba-11 is stuk in the mud.

Some light shelling is followed by heavy strafing, but AA return is increasing. Unfortunally, some armoured cars are spotted occupying the objectives. Lack of transportation assets seem to hinder progress. Half of the 15 cm close support has been disabled by air attacks. The bridge across the river collapsed due to support weakening under 15.2 cm shells. So far the initiative is at the russian side.

Sturmoviks Make Yet another pass Over the Goldspot Killing two Trucks and rendering the German 88s Immobile:) Armoured cars scramble away from theStuG's and StuIG's. Soviet troops Advance. 152mm Battery lays Smoke, 122 battery fires on troop concentration and causes 1 casualty.

Darn my trucks out, good thing I left them there as a diversion from the AAA. Too bad both died, but at least you wasted a rocket on one of 'em. I saw one of the IL-2's catching an 88 passing. I think he'll return to base. 3 to go..

Your airforce is nailing me to the ground. :/ Anyway... advanced my StuG's, missed some shots, and it's up to you again.. Still no counterbattery fire. That KV-1 will cause some trouble. :/ heavy armour, but slow. I want Jagdpanthers. :D

This is likely my last turn for today btw.

Not a Good Turn. Multiple Units failed tot ake out a StuG. An Il2 failed to take Out another StuG and Got hit by an 88 for damage. Otherwise the Soviets Advance.
