I am playing PBEM Scn 2 as Japan and have run into something weird. Some of my TF don't have a Home Port listed; it just says No Home Port. It happened to existing TFs and recently (Jan 42) to a new one I created.
Any idea why this is happening and how it can be stopped?

I've had that same thing happen several times, but it's easily solved by just assigning a new home port to the TF and moving on. If it makes you feel any better, it stops happening as the game goes on (in my experience this has only been a very early war bug - I don't remember ever seeing it after Feb'42.) Unfortunately, I've always had so much going on in my PBEMs at this stage as Japan that I've never delved into why this happens occasionally (it's always taken a back seat to what was getting conquered next), but I can tell you that it should stop happening fairly soon. (If I were to hazard a guess, I'd say this only happens to TFs that start the game already in existence. The longer the game goes on, the fewer of these original TFs you have left - at least the way I play. Again, though, this is only a guess - I haven't tested this at all.)

It's happening to brand new TF. It is especially irritating when it changes without warning and a TF lingers at a destination instead of retiring as instructed only to get pummeled!
