This is embarressing...But I am so confused.

So I am doing the first tutorial and I put Lew Wallaces command into the
river fleet like I am told. I do distant disenbarkment for the right location.
The location flashes blue and yet when the turn comes....No move and Lew Wallace
is back in the fort.....[:@]

What is going on? What am I doing wrong?

Troops will disembark only if the fleet goes to adjacent river region.

So what do I have to do in terms of orders? Order the fleet to go to the river region first? (and thanks for giving me some help it
is appreciated!)

First drag and drop land unit stack into the fleet so they are loaded. Then set disembark orders so the region chosen is flashing. Then drag fleet stack to an adjacent river/ocean location to plot its move. During turn, fleet moves where it is told and once there units will unload in the region that was flashing.
