Scenarios are designed, loaded in the campaign, points set, all intro text files complete..................heres the prob...when i right click on the scen name the screen gives me the "i" file path and creates the file folder in the main campaign folder. But when I right click on the scenario again after copying the text into the file and re-start SPWAW a few of the text files freeze the screen or eveN throw me to desk top. When I start the campaign the files seem to work fine...any ideas?

All text files, except for the intro file, have to be written inside the campaign, Jess. That has been my experience. If there is a workaround, I have not found it.

My suggestion is to write out what you want in each text file. Then open each text file in the campaign and type in the copy. Do not paste.

This causes a freeze and the only way to stop it is to delete those text files from the campaign folder.

I've tried any number of ways. You might, by luck get one to work, but usually not.

And it is frustrating beyond belief. After having done over a dozen campaigns for SPWAW this has been my experience.

How are you by the way, Jess? I hope you have recovered.

On that subject, I'm treating a blood clot in my left leg....ARGH! Always something isn't it?

Thanks Wild Bill! I got it to work!

I am doing better, I went out of town Tues. night and got back last night. I got to spend .5 millon on new equement for my company..that was cool! I wish I could have spent it on myself, family and friends!;)

I still have a broken arm, but that to is healing:p

I have the campaign ready and is on its way to Tankhead for posting....:D

Here is the opening text.

"This hypothetical scenario is the first of 7 depicting 3rd Panzer Group's assault on Moscow."

Comming soon:

Moscow 2: The Counter Attack!

The Sunflower Feilds: Already sent off to OKW for posting

Get Ready!: In last editing..for next months Dirty Dozen

The Battles for Saint Vith Campaign: In play test, and hope to send over to the Raiders for posting...

Here is Scenario #3 of the Saint Vith Campagin, While this scenario will play fine as the Americans or as a Human vs. Human battle, the text file is incomplete.

Take care of that blood clot my friend!

For now...its nap time

Well, we are an ailing bunch ain't we. I'm plagued with a blood clot in my left leg and taking the famous Cumadin (?) to thin the blood. It is quite painful. I was surprised.

But the unique and intense pain is what made the docs look for a clot. And they found it ...ARGH.

Your campaign sounds great as usual. I would expect nothing less. I guess we both need to get well...WB
