No sound during PBEM

When I view the history of my opponent's turn during a PBEM, I don't have any sound. Should I get sound when viewing his turn?
There are no SFX for the history mode. Its just a big logbook basically. I guess when designing the game i considered the battle already fought in the past so no soundeffects in history mode.
