Hi Guys,

Been playing CC games for a good while now, just bought CC Panthers in the fog, looking forward to some more new CC action.
Unfortunately I have no text or mini graphics in the game at all as shown in the picture. Strangely text is available in the options menu and if you want to ext the game.
There's no text in any of the further menu's I've been able to open, as due to my knowledge of CC im able to navigate menus. I've also got into a game and no text appears at all in game, but game runs fine and units and scenery are fine. These cases can be seen in pics following this post.
In steps to get the text back I've done a few things, re installed and downloaded filee several times, done a direct x check and re installed direct x 9 as well as applying the update. As far as im aware my video card drivers are also up to date.

Spec of comp is -

MacBook Pro 2.4Ghz (Dual)
Parallels 7 running Windows XP service Pack 3 - (i understand running parallels could be the issue but game runs fine just no text plus I've played a fair few games on this system, CC5 The Longest Day, Company of heroes, faces of war etc).
4Gb RAM
Nvidia Ge Force 9400M 256MB

Hope you guys can help as seem to be running, just missing text files or something, not sure really, no trace of similar issue either, any ideas or tips would be much appreciated.

What you're seeing is some sort of video driver/card compatibility issue. Panthers in the Fog is using DirectX to display text within the game. The dialog boxes (where you do see text) are handled by Windows, which would account for the difference. The system you're running on is not one of our supported platforms -- I'll be happy to try and help you get it working, but there may not be a solution.

The first thing I would suggest trying is to check the 'Windowed' box in the game options dialog, then 'Ok' and shutdown and restart the game. Video driver support for DirectX in windowed mode tends to be a little more robust than full screen exclusive mode, in my experience.

I've never run the game under Parallels myself (I don't own a Mac myself) but I believe you can boot the machine under Windows as well? If that's possible you might give it a try just to see if that makes a difference.
