Advertising, why not???

I'm going to be a pain here but it's something I've wondered about for awhile.
Now Slitherine are no longer some small fry publisher and have a huge back catalog and some serious sellers how come I never see any advertisements on any websites or publications for the games here. I thought a publisher would make sure they publicize their games? Lets say Slitherine take around 40% which I think is about normal for publishers shouldn't some of this go towards the advertisement costs. There have been two major releases in my book recently that could have been advertised across many different publications and websites. I'm not talking about a few niche reviews or previews either..but things like the myriad of wargaming magazines and history\military magazines etc etc.
I could understand this when it was Matrix and really a small indie publisher but really thats not what Slitherine are any more.
This could only benefit the developers in bringing in more sales and in the long run Slitherine aswell.
The games here appeal to a wide range of customers and not just your usual gamer, I have a cousin for instance who is a military re enactor..but knew nothing about Slitherine and these type of games..didn't even know games like this where made.
