Hi,

I am a french player of WITP AE
I got a strange problem , i can not resupply ammo big guns (main artillery) for US BB even in Pearl Harbour (same thing with Warspite), L.A, San Fransisco etc ...It is ok for refuel and secondary arty and no pb for CA or CL.
It works with English BB to resupply ammo in big ports of India. I play RA 4.1

Yes Battleships like IOWAS

Sounds like the old ops point issue for the heavy ammo load out the RA's give to the BB's. Check your max ammo load on the affected battleships. If you see an ammo value like 20+ and your turrets are not broken out into individual ones vs just front and back, then that's probably it.

It also helps to have an AE support ship in port with the BB AND the port is BIG enough ... size 7?? Maybe!

still have my bug to reload big guns of BB (specialy 6 guns turrets)
I don't see any concrete solutions despite your help
what to do exactly? a patch ?
It's the first time i go so far (january 1944) and i need BB for heavy bombardement.
It's really fustrating

Tell us where you are trying to reload them, in which port, of which dimensions.
I am basically able to reload all the Massachusset class BBs at a level 5 port with an AKE of 2800 cargo capacity (often takes 2 or 3 turns to do that tough)

Have you patched the game?

Unfortunatly it is not a problem of port size or AE ship.
I simply can not reload BB heavy gun turret with more than 3 guns anywhere. even in Pearl harbour, LA etc..
it's bug. I play with Reluctant admiral mod.
It seems to be a known pb but i don't find a solution

There was an issue in RA that kept the guns from loading on BB's. It was fixed in the current RA mod, but you cannot migrate from an older version to the newer version [:(]

Might want to PM John3rd. It's his mod. I do remember an issue with 16" & larger not getting loaded. I'll go look now, but I'm at work & pretty easily distracted.

On the dark side, it can't be fixed in a current game.

i found the solution, simply upgrade RA mod with version 5.
It works and my save too
