I am building a library of facilities for import for Australia scenarios and have just started on weapon ranges. Since this build I cannot rename RP's. (Like the B-17 in the air tutorial.)

Obviously I would like to group these RP's into a "sector", rename them and save them as facilities - Weapons Ranges. Which I cannot do at the moment.

Okay you can't save a reference point to an import file it only grabs units. You can rename a unit though by selecting it and pressing the r key. Just be sure nothing else is selected (units and reference points). If you ever wanted to name a reference point in a scenario make sure all other's are deselected (x's instead of yellow diamonds)and press the r key.

Thanks on the heads up on renaming RP's I did have others selected which stuffed my rename. Single select worked.

Shame about the import issue. There are weapon ranges, free economic zones, international boundaries, no fly zones that could be stored for scenarios. No matter.
