Annoying Bug

Does anyone else have this problem? I am playing the game in full screen on a Windows 8 computer (but not using a touch screen). About 25% of the time after I win a battle I am taken to the Victory Screen (or whatever it is called) where as usual I am informed how much experience, etc. I have earned and I am given the usual options of either going to the Main Menu or Continuing (I forget what the button for continuing is called). However when I try clicking on the "Continue" Button (or again whatever it is called) it doesn't work. It highlights blue when my little sword icon hovers over it, but when I click on it nothing happens. I have tried waiting several minutes and clicking my sword icon all around the box, but to no effect. The odd thing is I have no problem clicking on the "Main Menu". But, of course, doing so means that my game is not saved. So I have to go back to my last save and replay. Very frustrating, especially after a hard fought battle. Again this only happens about 25% of the time.
Any solutions?

This is a really strange problem.
We'll check and try to repeat it and find a solution.
The unique fast solution I can see for you now is to save during the battle. The best thing could be save an instant before the victory.

I also had that problem a couple of times, but just like with the loading screen not working entirely properly/saved game corruption, I think it might be caused by the flash program, if too many things are happening at once/rapidly after another.

Have the same system, and the same problem.
Now also one of my saves got corrupted- it says "waiting for the next player" ...
So i have to re-play entire mission. Very, very annoying.
