As it turned out, RAF Tornados took it on the nose while executing low level strike (as in real life). One loss was a bit of a bummer, lost control of a jet while under time compression and it strayed into a SAM envelope (I think it was an SA-3). The other was clearly careless on my part, tried to skirt an SA-8 site that wasn't actively radiating - until it did.

Question: The two Mirages were air-to-air encounters, I am guessing losses of aircraft on the ground are not modeled? Or just a matter of no aircraft on the ground at these targets?

Hi Brad,

I have definitely seen aircraft destroyed on the ground. I haven't noticed whether or not these losses were reported in the Side Losses report.

My experience is that losses on the ground definitely ARE modeled. And they also show up in the side losses report.

You could open it in the editor and see whats on the fields and where?

There are no aircraft housed at those airfields. Can add if you like.
