Adding Ships to Empire Builds

Basic questions here regarding the 10x durability rule.

1. if I added an empire BB for entry in March 44 at a normal cost of 156, that would mean for 1560 days prior to that date for every day there would be a cost of 156 to advance a day of production.
2. if I added a DD for entry on the same date with 9 durability, a cost of 9 per day for 90 days prior to delivery.
3. if I added an AM with a durability of 1 for the same date, it would be paid only for 10 days at 1.

The effective minimum points paid is 10 for a 1 durability ship, up to 233 x 1300 days if a Yamato class BB were scheduled to arrive in summer of 45. Is there a minimum or maximum number of days the empire player has to pay that overrides these numbers?

I do not think there are any maximum, or minimum. I am pretty sure you can get Yamato in first day if you put such date.

But remember, that ships begin production from IIRC 20*durability time (you just do not pay for it with Yard Points - but you can already accelerate it), and some ships use Merchant Yards (even combat - like CVEs)
