I'm very excited about this title. My father fought in the pacific during the war so I love the history and enjoy a good game on the topic.
Hope we'll have some screen shots soon??
Thanks for this game! [&o]

Then look at War In The Pacific - Admirals Edition.
This reads more like a comic version of history.

While I can appreciate that WITP AE exists and is probably the ultimate game for this setting, it also sounds like taking on a part time job to fully experience. This new game sounds very cool to me, a nice mix of detail and playability. I look forward to more info for sure.

With a selection of over 300 unique looking and behaving units, players can build and manage their army and fleet throughout the campaign. Early units include the iconic M3 Stuart, Type 97 Chi-Ha, A6M Zero and F4U Corsair fighters. As new technology becomes available, players eventually gain access to high-tech and prototype units such as the Nakajima Kikka and P-80 Shooting Star jet-fighters, Montana and Super Yamato Class battleships and T28, T29 and Type 100 I/O heavy tanks
Nope, a comic book game.

I'm interested in anything Pacific.
Probably beer and pretzels but considering all the European theater games this is a needed addition.
Hopefully it has more replay value than the disappointing Carriers at War, I've completely soured on the development team at SSG.

I'd like to here more about the naval "search" and engagement features, especially naval-air and land based air interaction. Air deployment concepts, like base construction, etc.....Logistics, transport mechanisms.
Is it tactical, operational, combination of or strategic? Kind of looks like PG Pacific, so there will be a campaign tree I assume.
