First bug!

First man mission. 2nd step: countdown starts and the dots runs towards the right side slowly for several minuts.
Continuing over the edge and continue under start/pause button.
Restarting now to see if its reproducable. Hoping there is a autosave ;o)
No autosave up yet so my advice is to save every turn.

Hello Swedewolf,

Which mission were you launching? Was it one from the X-15 program or from Mercury?

Notice that there is an autosave. Autosaves are stored inside YourUser\AppData\LocalLow\MatrixGames\BAPSM. The autosaves feature the date and time along with the year and season number inside the game (e.g., AutoSave-2013-10-28-200657-1962-1.xml). If you can attach to this thread the one that causes the fail that would be great, as I will be able to troubleshoot it right away.

Cheers,

It was Mercury, X-15 had no problem what I found. anyway.
I cant find the autosave. Searched in my documents and also the search words of your path and autosave name.
Got Windows 7

I also have Windows 7. See if you can find it under C:\Users\Your User Name\AppData\LocalLow\MatrixGames\BASPM.

If you open up a Windows Explorer, you should be able to locate your user in the left panel (mine is "Nacho"). See the screenshot below.

Cheers,

Ah, I see. AppData is a hidden folder, and it looks like you have the option for showing hidden folders turned off. Please follow this instructions.

Hello folks,

I have found the issue with the Mercury mission and fixed it. Apologies for that. I'll submit a patch (v 0.7.2) tonight to Matrix, so you should be able to download an update soon.

Regarding the problem with the biosatellite: we identified that one yesterday and the fix is already included in v 0.7.1.

Cheers,

Edit: Typo.

Thanks for reporting, it's fixed now. You'll get it in the next update. Mind you, the mission steps diagram overlaps with the console a little bit, but we'll fix that soon (see the attachment).

Next time we'll run a EEAP (Even Earlier Access Program) just for you Swedewolf! [:)]

Cheers,

You beat me to it! I just experienced the bug with the unmanned Mercury shot (1st mission in Mercury sequence). I had multiple X-15 missions without a bug (failures, yes, bugs, no).

If one of the design goals was to introduce "pucker factor" to the player when pushing the button and launching, mission accomplished! I can definitely see the value in a strategy guide, or at least a "quick start" guide for new players.

Any volunteers? [:D]

I would do it myself, but unfortunately the code doesn't write itself [;)]

This Problem is still present in v 0.7.2 for me.
NOTE: the attached file is not a jpg, just a renamed XML file.

We're planning to release v 0.7.2 tomorrow. The version number is at the bottom of the main menu, you should have 0.7.0 at the moment.

Ah, right. Sorry. =D

I looked for the version in the launcher but couldn't find it. So I assumed it was already 0.7.2. Sorry again, my bad.

This way I am really looking forward to 0.7.2. =)

Cheers
