Soviet Avatar patches

As the soviet badges that come with the game are actually modern Russian Army badges, I've put together a more historically correct collection of badges and decorations that you might want to use for unit avatars. I collected these images for use in the battlefield tour and I've resized them for use in the game.
These include: the shoulder patches worn by soviet soldiers to denote their service branch (called chevrons), the classic red star, a shinier guards badge, unit decorations and orders.

Most of those are medals and not patches/badges. We thought about adding medals to the game for performance in campaigns etc. and that kept us from using those for other purposes.
Russian combat units don't use badges like Western Armies do. Finding their combat patches isn't easy. As you pointed out, the badges and patches we do have are pretty much either WWII or modern. There is a gap in the coverage of Soviet military patches that we couldn't bridge by the time the game came out.
Good Hunting.

Can we have actual medals awarded rather than the generic notice at the moment at some point?? Pretty please:)

Yeah, I know. I thought I'd post these for more flavour for those who like to change their in-game avatars, and you got to admit, that guards badge is really shiny![:D]. I hunted high and low when I was building the tour and found zilch. Which is why I took the approach I did in it.
