changed endurance

I have two German AMC (iron man scenario) that were repaired at Batavia. They are at 100% but they only have an endurance of 100 right now. They cannot even make Singapore, is there any way to change fix this. I have plenty of fuel and when I hit replenish it still stays at 100

Two possible explanations that I can think of.

One is that the ships have used all their ops points for the turn, which is unlikely if they just came out of repair.

Second is that a sufficiently large volume of other shipping has already refueled this turn using up the ports capacity for refueling for the turn. This seems the most likely answer and can easily be tested by waiting until the next turn to see if the AMC s can successfully refuel then.

Otherwise it might be a bug.

Others may be able to suggest other possibilities. Those are the ones my experience reveals as possible.

I take it that by "100%" you mean 100% fuel?

If you have German AMCs....are you playing the Japanese Ironman from the Japanese side? [;)]. Not that that would cause a problem like this, but if you are then it is probably not worth the effort to fix this.

I know this is elemental, but did you make sure the TF fueling option is allowed? I sometimes hunt around for a problem and it is the obvious that I overlook.

In Beta 1123s there was this:

"Fix ships in port with full fuel should have full endurance "

Could this be related?

it did refuel up to 100 points but that's it

not sure how to post it on this screen but when I click on the ship info the first number is 100 under endurance. the ship did go into port damaged and out of fuel, so not sure if that had an effect. Im going to go ahead and send it to soerbaja out of fuel and try repairing it again

Yes - I see. You'll start getting more system damage with no endurance/fuel too. These stats are not really your endurance though rather your moves/phase. But I can see from it in the details pane.

I wonder if you could still send a save from a few turns ago when you couldn't replenish ?

You'll need to zip the file though or send it to my email address ;-)

The last turn I have still shows 100 in the moves. I know it arrived at Batavia with zero moves left.

Stop looking at the moves Steve. This is a number that also indicated the number of hexes to destination. It is the endurance that you need to look at ... You should really archive your saves so we can figure out this game mechanic together.

I certainly don't want to tell you how to organise your gaming experience Steve. Just, if you are going to post a report here you should always keep a save from that time. And as a newbie I used to keep a heap of saves just so I could go back and replay from different points ...

I guess we will not get to the bottom of this fully without enough info..

I had a third one do the same. What I think is happening is the ships were on auto patrol and for some reason did not return before running out of moves. the bug is some related to their arriving in port with zero moves and the endurance/moves doesn't reset.
