Questions about future sim performance.

My Computer specs: AMD Athlon quad core processor clocked at 2.9 GHZ, 6 gb of RAM, and a NVIDIA GTX 550Ti 2gb.

My dilemma: One of the first things that worried me about this sim (and still does) is using Hi-fidelity mode when im playing. A second of time with Hi-Fi mode on is almost always slower than a second of real time. I know the devs gave us the option to shut off hi fidelity mode and force the sim to run in "real time" but i am wondering how much this throws the calculations off when attacks are being resolved. Part of me cannot stand to have the game run slow and therefore i want to keep hi fidelity mode off, but part of me loves the smooth way the units move and the better number crunching of Hi-fi mode. Which leads me to this question for the devs: Is there any more wiggle room for you guys to improve the overall performance of the sim and make hi fi mode adhere closer to true 1:1 time? I would think i have a decent enough system to run the sim pretty well.

I love CMANO. This has to be the game of the year in my book. I only want things to get better. But for me, the 1:1 thing is driving me nuts.

I find that very odd...I have an AMD quad 1.9MHz with 16Mb RAM and a laptop ATI graphics processor. I have no issues with performance util well over 1000 units. I can't understand why some people have issues on machines significantly faster than mine.

Is your overclocked at all?

not overclocked one bit.
