Hello
I am looking for an experienced opponent to play 1988 Global Conflict Europe Middle East v1.0 as the Warsaw pack side of this very complex and interesting scenario. Opponent should be willing to play this secenario by the house rules to its conclusion. A minimum of two turns per week is preferred.
I have been playing The Operational Art of War since 1998 and consider my self to be an above average player.
This scenario attempts to recreate the NATO-Warsaw Pact conflict in late 1988 shortly after the end of the Iran-Iraq war but before the collapse of the Warsaw Pact in 1989.
The scenario can be played at two levels: Using a single house rule or with an optional set of additional house rules that simulate more complex political and military considerations. The optional set of house rules makes the game more realistic. A preliminary strategy guide can be found in the briefing.
