Rule Options: Difficulty Level ???

Hi,
In the rule book, it states, "At higher difficulty levels, the computer opponent receives a variety of material advantages. See the FAQ document for details."
Couldn't find any of this mentioned in the online FAQ I found. What are these material differences?
