Question about Enemy Force

I am confused why when I pause the game I cannot see more information on the enemy unit when engaged with it besides 12 tanks until they are killed and the diary shows what they were. It would be nice to be able to do this. I mean if we are engaged with the enemy and within range they should be able to know this. Maybe I am missing something.

There's an option in the game settings that allows you to either have that info, or not; I can't recall what it's set to by default.

Try allow browsing of spotted enemy units in the game play options menu.
