Game crashing

I've tried to play the campaign level 3 times. Each time, about 1/4 into the game, it crashes just after a scenario ends. It says there is a problem and the game must close. I can never get past that point and continue play. This is extremely annoying and I am beginning to feel like I've wasted $40 on this game. Please help.
