The update program fails. I will include the log below. I saw a direct link tot the update in this forum and will update using the direct download.

You could go get the patch manually and run it.

Thanks for the tip ... yeah last night it wouldn't update for me as well. The manual patch fixed the issue. Now if I could just learn to not be toooooo hasty on the first turn of Barbarossa ... and get all my best armor flipped on first turn ... grrrr [:@]

Hi Boshar and Snydly,

Were you trying to update from the released 1.00 or from the Essen Early Access release? What operating systems are you running and do you have any security/firewall software that might interfere with the automatic updates check? Did you see a request from Windows Firewall to allow the updater to run?

Hi Erik,

I tried to update from the regular 7 november version. My OS situation is complicated. Im running Windows 7 Professional but its in a VM (using Parallels) on my iMac running OS X 10.9 Mavericks. I just did a little test and disabled the firewall in Windows and on the Mac but the update program failed again. I'll add the error log below.
