Another idea is to be able to lasso your units then lasso the enemies units and then compare the info you get on the Gen tab. Useful if you have a number of enemy units coming to attack some of your units it will give you a good idea quickly of what you face compared to what you've got, better than having to lasso yours, remember it then lasso the enemy.
Just playing my first COHTTR scenario Terror of the Tyne Tees as the German. I've decided to keep the game slow not going over the second speed button. Plus I'm pausing more to really get into the detail of whats happening. I think...well for me..the game shines far more when played at a slow pace and savior the experience. At the faster settings it seems to loose something and I don't think you end up getting the most out of the game. I've been guilty of doing that myself and I never end up enjoying it as much as I could. SO now I've banned myself from going higher than the second highest speed. Infact I think that there should only be those two speeds and I'm sure people would get into the game even more and fully appreciate it and get immersed far more than quickly speeding through it. Anyway so far so good..enjoying the game again.
