ARAB-ISRAELI WAR 1956- ???
Posted: Sat Nov 09, 2013 12:27 am
This scenario is almost ready to be posted. screen shots to follow soon. the scenario will start in October 1956 with the beginning of the Suez war, but France and Britain are neutral in this and will only activate if an ally is invaded.
There are 103 victory points in order to win. Israel must take the entire Sinai, Trans-Jordan and either Damascus or Beirut to win. The only active nations at the beginning of the game are " The Arab Republic of Egypt" and the State of Israel, the rest of the Arab nations will only activate other than Iraq if Israel or any other regime declare war on them.
Once Israel declares war on Trans-Jordan, then Iraq will activate as will Britain as they are allied with the Jordanians. France will only activate if Lebanon or Israel is invaded, otherwise they remain neutral.
Manpower resource is available, as are two cards, one resource card such as ore and one oil card. Both are very expensive in PP points so one will have to decide on PP points for resource cards and upgrades or equipment on hand for a time.
House rules: Arab nations may ally with each other, but they can only trade upto 3 research projects per game no more. Arab units cannot stack with other Arab nations, but may stack with non Arab nations. this signifies how the Arabs while allied were not united in their war effort against Israel. the only exception to this rule are the Iraqi's who may stack with Jordanian Arab forces only. Iraq may stack with British forces as well though. Israel is not obligated to these rules.
