New scenario for testing: Trust Red (2018)

UPDATE...Thanks to everyone who offered feedback on this scenario. I've decided to take it down for now. I'm disappointed with how it turned out, so I'm going to play around with it for a while and see if I can come up with a better version. If I can, I will post it again.

Could you please provide a small description about the scenario?
Thanks.

Sure. It's 2018. Sudan has collapsed into civil war. The U.N. sends a task force with Japanese, Italian, and Singaporean elements to look into it, and perhaps take action against any assets that could pose a threat to peacekeepers. Ships are moving towards Port Sudan. Aircraft are at Djibouti.
And, as the saying goes, you've probably seen enough spy thrillers to know where THIS is going...

Nice one, I've sent you a PM with some feedback and the AAR.

I'm posting a new version (very minor tweaks, but I think it will make it a bit more challenging)...

Ok, so I played, finished, and scored a major victory. The Sudanese planes shot down the helicopter from one of the Italian ships, and that triggering of hostilities was the only loss I suffered. The Italian auxillary took a few hits when a Sudanese patrol boat got too close, but nothing that affected it too badly.
I got a CAP up, long-ranged but still worked, with the F-15Js. A combination of their missiles and the SAMs from the ships knocked down the MiGs. I tossed my Otomats at the airfield, which knocked out all the Fantans and some of the Fencers on the ground before they had a chance to take off, and took down the SA-2 battery as well. The Fencers that did make it up were splashed before any of them could fire.
Once the planes and patrol boats were knocked out, that was that. I wrecked the rest of the airfield with naval gunfire and helicopter strikes, and never encountered the Iranian sub. I saw the signatures for the land-based SSM launchers, but they never fired. I also saw an AA battery in the ocean (!) which one of my destroyers then blew up. It never fired either.
_ _ _
So I looked at the editor after the scenario, and saw a ton of Sudanese ground units in one group, which may have something to do with their odd behavior. I'd put them in separate groups. The reason the Fantans never got off the ground was their long prep-time, and everything else came up piecemeal, making it easier for me take them out one at a time (I think the airfield was too close, maybe use only helicopters and light planes at Port Sudan and an inland base for their main air force?)
So, I didn't find it the most challenging scenario, and felt it took too long (a lot of time spent just running out the clock). I like the concept (I'd fooled around with another anti-Sudan scenario of my own, only this was hitting targets inland), but think it needs improvement.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback.
I confess I'm disappointed with this one. And the recent update I tried to create is acting buggy. I may have to delete one of the sides and rebuild it...grrr!

I'm going to take this one down for a while. I may re-post it if I can work up a better version.

Mark, thank you for the scenario, it was just right in size for me to keep things on my radar (literally) still. Feedback on scen setup see the comments from others above.
Just one question, it might be my inability or a database or other issue: looking at the F 593 I see in Magazine window some Marte Mk2/S (in MU-90 external tubes), these do also show up in a manual attack dialogue, in red, with a comment of being "in magazine". However, looking at the weapon status window, I do not see any other reload priorities than the MU-90 torpedoes. It looks as if the Marte is fired from the TTs, but I am unable to load them? Or where is my mistake?
Thank you and looking forward to a reworked Trust Red and other scenarios from your hands.
Cheers,
Martin

This my humble question might be answered by anyone who is more savvy on the matter than I am.
Thank you so much!

Sorry, Martin, I did not see your question until just now. I suspect any weirdness in the magazines is entirely my fault...just due to my lack of experience in adding weapons, weapon mounts, etc. Indeed, I'm thinking that the Marte missiles probably should
not be in the MU-90 tubes. I doubt much good can come of it.

Thank you, Mark. No problem with the mistake, I am glad you experiment and contribute your scenarios! Just I need to understand what I have and how things work in order to command, thus me insisting. Thanks!
