Is there anyway we can actually give the regiments their proper name\regiment number?

Hi Wodin,

Not really. The engine was designed for giving all subunits of a division the same name.

However you can click on the name of a unit when in play to overrule this. But this is just meant for occasional name changes when in play.

You could rename all the units on the map in the editor (unit submenu) but when you'll start receiving replacements or resurrecting lost regiments the new units will all have the same name as their division once more.

OK no worries..just when you read books that cover certain regiments of a division you want to see them in a game. Reading the superb Into Oblivion by Jason D Marks at the moment which follows the 385 division and it's regiments (though mainly concentrates on the divisions pioneer battalion)
