I am using a system running Windows 8 64-bit and I am unable to get the program to run.
The only error is a Windows error that indicates that the thread crashed and it asks what I was doing at the time. The resulting diagnosis is valueless.
I have tried running the program in every conceivable compatibility mode to no avail.
What can I do to fix my issue?
I have uninstalled and re-installed the program over 4 times and it does not appear to be the issue. I have verified that I am in compliance with all of the prerequisites.
To be clearer I am able to reach the initial screen but when I select Play it seems to do nothing and sometimes it displays a box asking me what I was doing prior to the program crash.

Please try re-installing the Direct-X update from the \PreRequisites folder, and then running Command again.

THANK YOU! That fixed it!

Problem still remains, it worked once then it resumed failing... [:(]

I updated it to v 1.01, reloaded the prereqs and tried every variation of compatibility without success.
