I think I have everything OK, and the game runs normal, when I downloaded the “official” pack in the Database image folder (DB3000 and CWDB) I can only see a box with a X…when there is no image for a entry I can see the database viewer normal.

The folder I used for command as you can see uses > jane’s < and I wonder if that is the problem or is there any other problem.

This is happening since build 1.01, and all beta patches.

Any help is welcome.

I had one look like this before and it turned it was named a jpg, but was a png file.

I get the "no image problem" with all entries I have looked at, as long as there is a jpg for that platform in my DB3000 folder, [the issue is not just with sh-60b seahawk].

I downloaded the file from http://www.warfaresims.com/?page_id=1876 and unzip it to the DB3000 folder and CWDB.

Re-installed the progam and pre-requisited and the issue continues.

Have you tried installing in default location...just a thought.

Just put a folder between my directory and default and didn't change. Please do try though if you've got the time.

Did this ever work for you or first time you've tried adding the files?

It never worked......I will try with text description, and see if it works, and when more time available use a directory without "jane's"

I am surprised windows lets you use an apostrophe in a folder name.

eliminating the apostrophe solves the problem.....the designers should make a note, not to use apostrophe in the path folder if you want to look at images in the DB viewer.

It was the default path for Jane's PC games, and as you can see, I use this path for my PC games since Jane's 688i (it was designed for windows 95 or 98).

I think this might be a legacy windows issue. Certain compilers have an issue.

I'm still unable to see newer images in mine. I've reinstalled the game to the default directory, updated to the latest build and downloaded and installed the latest DB3000 files but I still can't see any of the new images such as Soviet platforms.

What do you see?

I see a regular database entry with text but no photo or space for a photo. I can see photo for some US platforms though. It's all very strange. I know I have the photos for things like various Soviet aircraft because I can go into the database and view the images with Windows Photo Viewer. The file-names aren't corrupt. They are all default such as Aircraft_664.jpg. (Some are alternate photos with names like Aircraft_672_t1.jpg). I'm going to try deleting everything, running a registry cleaner, and then re-installing one more time to see if that clears things up.

OK, wiping the game and registry and then re-installing did the trick. I can now see all the updated database images.

I think the save games may have had something to do with the problem. When I initially re-installed the game, I moved my save games over to the new install directory. This time, I just went with a new install and didn't keep any save games.
